Ok, der alte Dell X1 hat jetzt ausgesorgt. Jetzt benutze ich einen Dell Lattitude D420.

1. Mozilla Thunderbird:
Bei XP gab es den Ordner Anwendungsdaten. In dem standen alle Mozilla Profile drin.
In Vista gibt es so etwas ähnliches. Man muß in den Ordneroptionen die Systemdateienanzeige einschalten und sieht dann einen Ordner
[name]/UserData/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird.
Da muss alles rein. Dummerweise findet es Thunderbird aber nicht. Momentan probiere ich gerade das Backupprogramm MozBackup dafür aus..
Habe aufgegeben weil das Programm bei mir irgendwie nicht funktioniert. Ich habe jetzt ein neues Profil in Thunderbird angelegt, dort einen E-Mail Account und eben kopiere ich die einzelnen Dateien rüber.

2. Firefox
Firefox neu installieren auf der Vista Installation und dann die hier beschriebenen Dateien austauschen. Das klappt wirklich gut.

ich habe eine gekaufte Photoshop CS2 Version. Sie lies sich einfach mit Seriennummer installieren, obwohl sie auf dem alten PC ja auch schon mal installiert war.
