Stimmt, das sieht so ein wenig amerikanisch aus. Startrek ist ja auch ursprünglich eine amerkanische Serie.

Dem Wesen nach ist ja die Sternenflotte wie eine Armee aufgebaut, hat aber als Hauptzweck die Erforschung und Erkundung neuer Welten und Rassen. Der "Waffen"part ist natürlich vorhanden, bleibt aber gottseidank im Hintergrund

Und wie heisst es doch so schön bei Raumschiff Enterprise.... Zu entdecken neue Welten und Zivilisationen. Dorthin gehen, wo noch nie ein Mensch zuvor gewesen ist. ...

Genau dieses Motto liebe ich an Startrek

Für alle Interessierten habe ich hier meine Rede, die ich auf dem Ball gehalten habe, noch einmal notiert:

Dear Admirals, Officers, fellow members and guests of Starfleet Command Second life quadrant.

I am Falo Priestman and I am proud to be a member of this wonderful group of startrek fans.

We all know these words: Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. ...
To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before.

This is, what i love on startrek. And i am here to fill out these words with substance.

I am proud to live,to work and to have fun with the members and the guests of our group here and on other sims in second life.

And as lead of the linguistics subdivisions i am proud of my linguistics team and of our work to make starfleet more international.

Lets work together in the spirit of startrek! Thank you!
