Hungary, advice please

We want to go to Hungary in August. Who has tips to give us?

We were thinking going via Wizzair but it doesn't seem to be easy. A better idea?

We are looking for guest houses with B&B in Eger and Keszthzely or on the Balaton lake;

Any advice on what is best and what is to avoid is welcome.

German people seem to visit Hungary frequently. We are in contact with a German letting flats.
