I have had two blogs for some time now and a lot has happened since then and I have almost given up on blogging. But now, new time, new try. I am ending my blogging career on bloghouse and will continue on my website www.murgeys.com. I have created this website during the recording of a French Drupal DVD (and it has changed a bit already by now). You might notice, that murgeys.com used to be the address of my other blog I used to write "professional" things in. So now is the time to consolidate all of these activities and continue on one site, that is my site. I would be happy if u continue reading and commenting on it. Most of it, will probably be in English, but I will make an effort to translate into French and German.Thank you guys again and see on you on the other site. :)

I am recording the final chapter today...and want to do a lively intro for the DVD, of course, afterwards :)

and I am getting the hang of recording more and more... speak clearly! explain logically! don't make mistakes! ('cause that means starting all over again or finding the right position of the cursor!) ...

Day 6 and done with chapter 5! That is, almost done with that chapter. I will need to listen to some in order to tell the post-production team what to cut out...

I probably constantly mix up "page" and "plage". "Page" means page (of a web site too) and "plage" is the wonderful beach only 10 minutes from here, waiting longingly for me to place my body and soul on the sand once I am done with the recordings...

It took me a long time to write something again in my blog. Now the time has come again and I am merging my two blogs isapisa.com and murgeys.com into one. It will no longer be called isapisa but Isabell S. This process is going to take a little time as I am recording a French DVD about Drupal 6 at the moment.

eduate.eu wants to use a virtual environment with Second Life to present national and international projects regarding lifelong learning. The presentations shall offer both information about the project works and suggestions for other project executing organisations, in order to implement Second Life as a learning and communication tool for their project work.
People interested in the realisation of education projects in Second Life can stroll on a learning path and follow the individual steps of such implementation. Of course, eduate.eu is also available for other educational institutions, that wish to include Second Life in their project work.

With the preparations, suited to the media, of complex project contents for Second Life, eduate.eu wants to address users, for whom learning and Second life have so far been contradictory to each other.

For the realisation of the plan, eduate.eu engages the consultancy agency y.s. authentics situated in Cologne. y.s. authentics is specialised in the use of virtual worlds as a communication tool and decisively contributed to the development of the first professional TV station in a virtual world. Besides successful projects in Second Life, y.s. authentics is equally active in many other virtual worlds.

During the coming weeks, a virtual European meeting place will be created namely on the island acquired by eduate.eu, that invites to the first information exchange. The offerings will be expanded perspectively through teaching rooms and a sandbox, in which knowledge is conveyed in a practical manner. Furthermore, a learning path will be designed, explaining clearly by means of a detailed example how one can use a virtual environment in order to be creative, to learn and to make money. The completion of this new presence is planned for September 2008.
