The third meeting of the SIC Project is over. We discussed how to interprete the results we have got in our survey and hanged on a long time in talking about the differences between different countries. There is a model from Hofstede to view on the differences, called monochronic and polychronic.
Of course, there is not black and white, it always depends on the concrete situation, but there is tendency. Germans and the Irish are more rational thinkers and decision makers. Portugueses, Greeks and Spanish's are more emotional and take decisions out of the feeling.
I picked out some competencies were the results shows significant differences to the average. Have a look at my attached presentation I gave today.
The whole report will be published soon on the project website.
