I can't put my photos on the site, I think I follow the instructions but there's something missing : what is it? sniff!
I am used to proceed like this: i upload my pics on flickr, http://www.flickr.com (yoi need to be registered there). from there I include the photos on all platforms I want to. So I haven't to upload them twice or more.
An easy slideshow you can create with flickr slidr, http://flickrslidr.com/
there you follow the instructions, copy the code they gave you just into the html view of the editor here.. and ready:)
thank you Momo, Christine & Hagen explained to me (again !) yesterday ; they mentionned flickr as well. My husband knows how to do it; I'll try with him.I saw your pic, I had thought you were a man, God knows why, one of our coolegues here is called "momop" and is a ...woman ...;
Ups which pic of mine gave you the ipmression that I am a male? Do I have such horrible pics online? :)
I hadn't seen photos! just the name, probably because it ends in -o (masculine in Spanish) , -a is feminine....
names in other language contextes can be a difficult story:), momo was the name of my first internet user. Momo is also the name of the girl in the so called and well known book for children of Michael Ende.. All people I had contact with via internet used to call me so, even after knowing me offline and with my real name: Ruth.. a never ending story:)... and so I decided to take Momo as user for the french platform too, because Ruth in France is really hard to explain. It doesn't exist or isn't used in french, in italian and in spanish. Rüth (french pronounciation) does not sound well to my ears.. and the german way to pronounce it, must be for french people very strange... thinking always to "la route"... and some other associations not very agréable:)
Yes, you're quite right.Being a mixed Anglo-French family we wanted to give our children names that would exist in both countries; well, IT WAS HARD WORK !!!Even if you find a name that exists in both places , you also have to take into account fashion and "connotation": a nice French name would sound old-fashioned or ridiculous in English , and vice-versa.howfrench
