Internship Presentation

Today I had an interview with the responsible person for internships at my university.

I felt good, I talked well and I got another offer to do a project at school: The Work experience data bank. I have to see if I will have time for that, as I want to participate in doing th year book as well.

Anyway, he said it was excellent and there were just minor critiques such as making a breathing break from time to time when talking for effects.
Apparently the quality of my internship report is very good indeed although he just flicked through. But I guess after a couple of years doing that job, you see straight away what is good and what isn't.

Departure

Today I will go on to Paris. To be more precise: in less than an hour.

The day before yesterday I had a final meeting with my boss Ralph Seitz at whom I did my internship. I have to do some minor changes and also have to correct my internship report (only small changes).

Yesterday, my mother and I went to the beach and let the sun tiggle my belly. In winter it will be too cold here.

Now, I will get something to eat and pack my computer in the case.

Analyses

Ich habe meine Analysen endlich fertig.

I described the market situation and development of real estate markets.
Following, I analysed real estate websites according to self-established criteria.
After the two big analyses, I noticed that I should write a profile of the target group, so I did that.
And finally, I described an example of how a work flow behind and of a website of an real estate company could look like, so it works efficiently and effectively.

Real Estate Websites

I am analysing... I am analysing: international real estate websites. I have chosen three: a Spanish website, an English one and an American one. I have just found my way through the Spanish website.
Spain: the biggest growing real estate market in Europe, UK and USA: the best developed markets worldwide.

During the last days I have looked at the Internet presence of French regional and natianl agencies.

New Houses

I have just added two offers on the exil domozil ltd website. I have written the texts with some help and then edited all pictures and put the on the server as well as inserted links. The next time it will go a little faster.

Today R. Seitz and I wanted to show houses to German clients. Two "girls" from the real estate agency Immobilier du Sud in Sigean prepared themselves as well.

Meeting was at 11h at the motorway exit to Sigean. We waited half an hour and we called too: first it was occupied and then the mobile phones was turned off!

Well, it happens that one can be stood up. But never give up hope: beginning of August there will be new clients coming via airplane. Then it will be difficult to not come. Eye-wink

Internship Report

Currently, I am working on my internship report.
It includes already a main structure that will help me to fulfil the main mission of my internship; that is to develop a marketing plan for the Internet presence of real estate companies, concentrating on exil domizil ltd.

First, I want to write out everything that I know already and then I will concentrate on the analysis of the French mediterranean market situation here in the département Aude and the region Languedoc-Roussillon including also successful national and international websites in my analysis. I also give a short insight about the past situation and the development and about future tendencies.

Immobilier du Sud, recapitulation week 3

On Tuesday we had an appointment with the agency's lawyer, as there is a problem with two estates. The seller had an estate which she divided in order to sell two estates. One part (with the house) was already sold via the agency. The other one is going to be sold the coming Monday. The problem is that the access to the house's garage lies on the estate of the second part. Of course, the owner of the estate with the house claim that it is theirs, but it clearly isn't (one can see it on the cadastral map excerpt). And now they accuse the agency of advertising fraud.

In the morning I searched the website immo-du-sud.com for offers for three clients. They are Ralph's clients at the moment. Two of them are looking for a house in a village, nicely renovated, with a veranda if possible whereas the other one is looking for a house for a family of four with view on the sea.
After having found some offers, I was looking for the pictures corresponding to the houses.
I have to send everything to Ralph so he can show the offers to his clients.

In the afternoon, I translated the "Bon de Visite" into English. It is a small contract that is made when showing properties to clients, so the agency knows who has seen the properties already.
